Welcome to July
Things have slowed down since my green screen filming with Reece, due to my holiday and working on Devious, but, as always, the project is ticking along in the background.
Continual nips, tucks and tweaks to the script and the work on the Spiker from Devious will have a positive impact on Super Charly. I need a couple of extra days in the week to be able to fit everything in!
The David Cross Band
My dear friends continue their tour (mainly Europe at present) and in September they hit London at the Camden club. David and the band are enjoying their Larks Tongue at 50 play list, which includes the King Crimson classics and tracks from The David Cross Band’s back catalogue, also material from their latest album Ice Blue Silver Sky.
Due to the extensive tour dates not all of the band members (the present line up) have been able to make every performance and during their last play date the line up actually consisted of mainly the old King Crimson crew (not Robert Fripp as he was touring with his wife Toya Wilcocks), but an added bonus for the patrons who attended that gig.
The reviews keep coming in thick and fast and all have been of a four star nature with journalists highlighting the pure talent on display, so if you are a love of progressive rock please check out their website and see if you can make any of their tour dates.

The You Tube upload of episode 5 has been delayed as the team wanted to revisit some of the special effects and reinstate some additional scenes.
This includes the evil 'spiker' creature, which requires extensive work to make the action for the scenes it appears in good enough to be included. So I've been working on that.
Blender Market was celebrating their 10th anniversary and so, they were offering some paid addons to Blender, for free and this lead me too BlenRig 6, which I have began to use; slightly screwed up, but I'm on the right track.
BlenRig 6 offers a step by step guide while building your rig. It's an award winning bit of kit and I can see why. Any errors have been my own while learning. I will feed back my results next month.

I hope this will be completed before the end of the summer so I can return to concentrating all my efforts on Super Charly.

While on holiday in Scotland I managed to take some fabulous drone footage. It’s such a beautiful country. If you’ve never been I can highly recommend it.
